Where It All Began
My Budder was born from the greatest pain a mother can endure—the loss of my only son, DaQuan, lovingly called Budder. On June 16, 2022, my world shattered. In that moment, I could not breathe. The tears, the searching for answers, the endless ache—it felt like I was dying a little more each day.

But in my sorrow, the Budderfly appeared. To me, the butterfly became more than a symbol. It became my son—my Budderfly. A reminder that though his wings now soar in heaven, his love, his light, and his presence are still with me. The Budderfly is my connection to him, and it has become the heart of everything I create.

For Every Budderfly
While My Budder began with my son, I know I am not alone. Every person who has loved—or lost—has a Budderfly of their own. A child. A parent. A grandparent. A partner. A friend. Even a beloved pet. Our Budderflies live on through memory, love, and community.

The Two Sisters
My Budderfly grew into two sisters. On Facebook, we hold space for grief and remembrance. On Instagram, we celebrate love, joy, and living. One sister carries our sorrow. The other carries our joy. Together, they remind us that life and loss, grief and love, are forever intertwined.

The Sanctuary
The Sanctuary is where the sisters meet—a place of comfort, connection, and community. Here, every Budderfly—past and present—is honored. Here, no Budderfly is forgotten. Here, we remember that even in the deepest grief, there is still love.

Every journal, every blanket, every candle is crafted with care, intention, and love. Soft enough to hold your tears. Strong enough to hold your memories. Beautiful enough to honor your Budderfly.
